A record of local branding by Howdy Creative since 2009. Ten perspectives — food and farming, craft, markets, exhibitions, consulting — the complete picture of a brand.

Editor'sNote
Howdy Creative (formerly Mr. Bear Design) has never treated design as the end point of a service since 2009. Design is a medium, a translation — a tool that lets more people see and feel the true nature of a local brand.
These ten stories come from real projects, real conversations, and lessons learned in fields, markets, and exhibition halls. Every page is an ongoing answer to our relationship with this land called Taiwan.

From a Stall Map to a Forest
In 2013, Howdy Creative took on what seemed like an ordinary commission: designing a stall map for a small farmers' market. A decade later, that map had grown into a forest. Market curation isn't just about arranging stalls — it's a way of building community. Who sells here defines what the market believes in.
Howdy Doesn't Just Execute — We Run Our Own Markets
In 2013, Howdy Creative stepped onto a market stall for the first time — not as designers, but as vendors. That decision taught us something: a brand consultant must enter the market to truly feel it. From farmers' markets to creative markets, Howdy Creative has used its own brand as a testing ground.
