From Southeast Asian Healing to a Digital Experience: Soul Island Coffee's Website Design

Web Design

With the brand identity finalized, Soul Island Coffee needed to carry its calming, healing tone into the website and LINE official account, connecting the brand story, menu, and booking flow.

Challenge

In its early days, Soul Island Coffee had no official website: SEO keywords were unoptimized and there was no mobile experience. The LINE official account had the same problem, lacking brand visuals and automated interaction, which made it hard to capture and retain customers or extend the finalized brand identity into everyday digital touchpoints.

Goal

Building on the finalized brand identity, the goal was a five-page website covering Home, About, Menu, Book, and Contact, along with the LINE official account's rich menu, so customers would feel a consistent brand tone and a smooth experience from search, to adding the account as a friend, to booking a table.

Approach

  1. Extended the finalized brand palette, deep brown, sand, tropical green, warm gold, and off-white, into the website visuals, with all five pages sharing arch and curve motifs to keep the Southeast Asian healing style consistent.
  2. Built the official website on WordPress with responsive design, baseline SEO optimization, and Google tracking setup, and strengthened the 'Book via LINE now' call to action on the home and menu pages to connect directly into the booking flow.
  3. Designed the LINE official account's rich menu, covering booking guidance in both Chinese and English plus international contact information, so customers who prefer LINE could book directly, giving the cafe a second digital entry point alongside the website.

Outcome

Soul Island Coffee's website and LINE official account were finished and delivered on schedule: the five-page site connects the brand story, menu, and booking flow, and the rich menu carries the bilingual booking guidance. Since launch, Howdy Creative has continued supporting the site's search visibility with SEO content marketing.

FAQ

What pages does a cafe website design typically include?
It depends on what the cafe needs. For Soul Island Coffee, that meant a five-page website covering Home, About, Menu, Book, and Contact, taking customers from learning about the brand all the way through booking a table in one place.
Can a website and a LINE official account be planned together?
Yes, and it's actually recommended. Soul Island Coffee's website and LINE rich menu were designed at the same time, so customers who search to find a cafe and customers who prefer LINE both get a consistent brand tone and a smooth booking experience through the entry point they already use.
