Linhousilin Forest Day Market: A Year-Round Market Brand for Linhousilin Plain Forest Park

Strategy & PlanningEvent PlanningBrand Identity

For the Forestry and Nature Conservation Agency, Pingtung Branch, Howdy Creative planned a full year of markets at Linhousilin Plain Forest Park, extending the Linhousilin Forest Day Market brand into on-site execution for the 2026 Taiwan Bamboo Expo under the theme 'The Rhythm of Linhousilin,' connecting local produce, craft and forest education.

Challenge

Linhousilin Plain Forest Park spans a large area of forest with a strong base of local produce, but past markets ran as one-off events without a unified brand or on-site identity, making it hard to sustain visibility. This contract covered a full year of five markets plus the Taiwan Bamboo Expo and a bamboo art unveiling ceremony, requiring one consistent brand across different events while adapting visuals and on-site execution to each occasion's theme.

Goal

Extend and strengthen the Linhousilin Forest Day Market brand so the park's forest education, sustainable farming, local craft and community revitalization spirit would be seen through a unified visual system, and deliver a limited theme, 'The Rhythm of Linhousilin,' for the Pingtung pavilion at the 2026 Taiwan Bamboo Expo, connecting key visual, stage backdrop, booth signage and on-site flow into one complete service from planning through execution.

Approach

  1. Developed the key visual around the park's mountain, water, garden and forest identity and its 'forest classroom without walls' concept, extending it into a limited series, 'The Rhythm of Linhousilin,' for the Bamboo Expo, using bamboo weave textures and earth tones to echo the park's landscape.
  2. Designed the full range of on-site materials, stage backdrop, booth introduction stands, a guest signature banner, staff badges and a wayfinding system, and helped coordinate exhibitor recruitment and on-site flow planning.
  3. Stayed on-site for the full run, load-in, load-out, installation, event hosting and inspection, to keep the brand consistent across an outdoor market environment.

Outcome

Over two weekends of the 2026 Taiwan Bamboo Expo (8/15-16, 8/22-23) at the Pingtung pavilion in Linhousilin Plain Forest Park, dozens of local brands and craftspeople took part, with stage performances, the signature banner and every on-site identity piece delivered per the visual system, extending the Linhousilin Forest Day Market's visibility in the local revitalization market space.

FAQ

What does a full year-round market brand program include?
Beyond the key visual and identity extension, we also help with exhibitor recruitment and on-site flow planning, and send a team to stay on-site for load-in, load-out, installation and hosting, so the brand stays consistent outdoors, not just a set of design files handed over.
How does one market brand extend across different event themes?
We keep the brand's core visual language, like Linhousilin Forest Day Market's shared mountain, water, garden and forest imagery, then develop a limited series for each occasion. 'The Rhythm of Linhousilin' for the Bamboo Expo is one such limited edition, built from bamboo weave textures.
