Challenge

Frau Fei's German Handmade Cuisine grew out of a Taiwanese-German family's commitment to authentic German cooking. The brand had built its customer base mainly through word of mouth and in-person sales, without a website that could fully tell the brand story or let customers order directly, making it hard for more people to discover this cross-cultural family tradition.

Goal

Build a brand website that could both tell the story and sell the products, fully presenting the Taiwanese-German family's culinary background and commitment to German cooking, while integrating online shopping so customers could browse products and complete orders and payment directly on the site, replacing the previous reliance on in-person purchases.

Approach

1. Built the website around Frau Fei's culinary story, creating a brand introduction section that conveys the Taiwanese-German family's dedication and the origin of their cooking, helping customers understand the care behind the food.
2. Planned an online shop where customers can browse products and order directly, replacing a sales model built purely on word of mouth and freeing sales from being tied to in-person hours.
3. Drew the visual style from the rustic, honest character of German cooking, keeping the site's atmosphere and the brand's tone tightly aligned to strengthen overall brand recall.

Outcome

Frau Fei's German Handmade Cuisine launched its brand website, giving customers a way to learn the Taiwanese-German family's culinary story while browsing products and completing purchases online. It opened a new online sales channel for a brand that had previously relied entirely on word of mouth.
