As the Dadun Fine Arts Exhibition marked 40 years, the Dadun Cultural Center needed a gift substantial enough to represent its historical weight and artistic standing, to be presented to participating artists and honored guests. The challenge was to avoid the dated feel of a typical souvenir and instead design a corporate gift that carried both collectible value and genuine emotional resonance, letting the gift itself speak to the exhibition's artistic depth.

Goal

Under the concept "Wave of Art," translate ink-wash paintings from the Dadun Fine Arts Exhibition's history into a silk scarf pattern, creating an anniversary gift substantial enough to represent 40 years of history, so that the artists and guests receiving it could feel the exhibition's artistic lineage directly through the scarf.

Approach

1. Selected a representative ink-wash painting and translated it into a composition and color balance suited to silk scarf printing, balancing visual beauty with material quality.
2. Paired the scarf with a gift box featuring a custom wordmark reading "40 Years of Classic Dadun Glory," reinforcing the significance and collectible value of the anniversary.
3. Finalized production specifications to match the actual silk printing process, ensuring the finished pattern and colors stayed faithful to the original painting's spirit and met the standard expected of a collectible gift.

Outcome
